Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge receive the June Android security update


The Verizon branded version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge are in the midst of receiving their June Android security update which is getting pushed out by Big Red. 21 security vulnerabilities are being patched in the update, with the most serious being a “a critical security vulnerability that could enable remote code execution on an affected device through multiple methods such as email, web browsing, and MMS when processing media files.”
